UK Coffee Events 2013 Cezve/Ibrik Announcement

Tuesday, December 4th, 2012

Despite World Coffee Events announcing that it will not be running the Cezve/Ibrik Championship in 2013, UK Coffee Events would like to announce that we intend to run the UK Cezve/Ibrik Championship in the UK, subject to a minimum number of entrants being met.

Re-inclusion at the World level is very much dependent on participation and sponsorship levels steadily increasing – a stance we also support.

In order to have a meaningful UK event, minimum entry levels of 3 competitors is required. If we cannot reach this number then the competition will not take place this year and it’s future in the UK may also be in doubt.

We intend to run this event at The London Coffee Festival on Sunday 28 April 2013.

If the event does not take place then any competitor who had applied to enter will receive a full refund.

Registration will be managed online at www.ukcoffeeevents.com
